About Selatan

Kesultanan Selatan, translated as the Sultanate of Selatan is a cultural community micronation aimed at the preservation and celebration of Malay heritage. Established in 2019, Selatan operates under a constitutional monarchy led by Sultan Alyarish, alongside a Menteri Besar and a legislative council. The community boasts approximately 100 members dedicated to upholding and promoting Malay traditions.

Functioning as a cultural institution, Selatan hosts a variety of events and activities aimed at showcasing Malay culture. These include musical performances, culinary festivals, and educational programs highlighting the history and customs of the Malay people.
